Bifold Window

Customers wanted to make a nicer living space and to enjoy the view from kitchen to the exterior deck & surrounding landscapes, and create a friendly outdoor/indoor area for entertaining guests in the summertime.

  1. We custom ordered the bi-fold wood window. They factory painted the exterior of the window only with a darker color to blend in and complement the existing color of the exterior siding and brick.
  2. We removed the existing window from the kitchen to the back deck area.
  3. We custom fabricated and installed a “Dekton” counter area on the back deck with waterfall on both ends.
  4. We reframed the structure as needed and added a new custom made bi-fold window. (Three folding window parts total – the window can be opened partially, or fully opened or closed, as weather and situation would dictate).
  5. The interior of the bi-fold window was raw wood, and we sprayed painted this white on site to blend in with the other adjoining windows.
  6. We added wood trim around the inside of the new window and painted the trim white to blend in with existing adjoining interiors.
  7. We installed new exterior wood casings and trim, and painted all wood trim so to blend in with the adjoining exterior siding and trim.
